The Others : The Truth That Hurts There's been a lot of talk about this next band, maybe too much talk. This band are not a rebel band, just a damn fine pop combo. This 'come back' single reinforces the point. A nagging repeated riff sits astride an urgent tuneful vocal which builds up to a terrace singalong chorus, rather as if The Sister's Of Mercy's 'Temple of Love' was to meet The Exploited at a guerrilla gig.
Dominic Masters may sometimes come across as a bit of a twat; perhaps he's been misquoted or perhaps, like the rest of us, he has occasionally acted like a twat. Hopefully this single will show that a band can speak for the disenfranchised, can be controversial and mouthy and working class, while still releasing toe tapping, thought provoking pop singles. All wrapped up, of course, within artwork suggesting the most ridiculous, cheesy pun. Rosey R*E*P*E*A*T
