The Moon Office - Academa's New Look ep

The Moon Office go about Rock'n'Roll in exactly the right way. They have the best-looking ep cover so far this issue, a delightful disdain for all things P.C. expressed in a song titled 'Let's Bomb America' and their sound on this ep is dark, bass heavy rock, with distorted guitars and reverbing vocals.
Academa's. is very different to their live show - on stage they have the trick of making instant converts, whereas the slightly off production here
flattens out their songs and means this demo doesn't quite have the capacity to grab the attention of the listener. But still odd moments, such as the intro to 'The Day You Stole My Soul', hint at something special within it all - and you really, really ought to see them live.
