Battered a four pack of Inches and I was on my way. My 25th last night, so I woke up frail and awakened. Somewhat of an ego death and now my ears are shouting like I’ve just bashed a couple of Merzbow albums.

Baby Schillaci start powering and mighty like a fat man eating a beef pie. The bass tone is clapping cheeks, their vocal performances are class and full of anger. These Jack bastards are getting it out and leaving it all to bare on the Clwb Ifor Bach stage.

My fingers stink of onions and my ears ring of noise and fat bad boy beats. Honestly tighter than a nun's cunt, and they fucking know it. Well rehearsed and under appreciated - this band has a lot of potential and smelly smelling tunes.

I really do dig this band and more humans should too. Drummer is so fucking tasteful. These lads are hot and bothered, full of energy and full of fish eggs. They sound huge and delicious, tone galore, a band's band and an everyone’s band. These humans are on their way to mastering some genre of music, their own little twist on a lil something that makes ears wet.

Drummer drops a stick and makes it work, this fella knows his shit and my eyes can’t leave the fucker. The rest of the music just absorbs you and your head into swinging like a cock in the wind. This set has been wickedly created, when to go up, when to go down, I dig it man and these cunts need a fucking break - they’re class.

They play with 200 years of experience and perhaps they are ahead or they are after their time - but these bastards, I know these bastards are going to drop a quintessential album at some point in time that’ll be snapped up in some sticky vinyl shop. Never ever lose that chip on your shoulder. Banging set, and they sweetened the deal with a bloody gorgeous t-shirt.

Human Resources have just started and I’m pooling all mine currently in the urine troff, I won’t look but I’ve got a feeling these fellas are from the south of London. Reminiscent of Folly Group, Sorry and Keg, definitely a shake your ass type of band if you dig the music. The singers drip is quite honestly Jimmy Thomas and the drummer is the spit of anyone from The Smiths, he’s a class drummer though I won’t lie. The singer has a vibe like he could front Modern Baseball / support Jack Whitehall on a comedy tour while being deathly obsessed with ‘Theme for Failure’ by The Guest.

Talking about how tough it is not coming from money while coming from money while bastardising psychedelic grooves coined by King Gizzard and melodic lines mastered by bands as Deerhoof, not my vibe really but they are definitely a band.

Yowl were tight, I would have dug them a lot a few years ago but I hadn’t heard of them until now, good band with some pretty solid tunes.
