Cosy Cosy - Three Piece Suite

Cambridge's Cosy Cosy are starting to cause a bit of a stir, and on the evidence of this, their debut offering, its east to see why. Shambolic garage indie has rarely been done better since the halcyon days when The Pastels and their ilk were the darlings of the indie scene. The boy/girl vocals work perfectly, slotting neatly into a noise built on sound British post punk and riot grrl ethics - noisy, slack honest and no more than three minutes per hit. They describe themselves as 'boy girl bangy wangy', which just about sums it up.
