In Defence of R*E*P*E*A*T's New Bands' Nights

Monday evening at The Portland Arms, must be new bands' night. Gallons of sweat, energy, bum notes, underage drinking, hormones, posing, furtive smoking, enthusiasm, sweet gobbling, nervous gabbling, tentative snogging, twiddly guitar solos, fragile moshing, parents in the other room, rushes for the bus home and stars in yr eyes. A night to act out your wildest dreams which, for tonight Matthew, can come true. Fuck the music, Monday nights must be my favourite gigs.
